After an extended vacation im back and ready to get down to the nitty gritty. I dont know if i've posted this before but my ambition is for this site to be where you go for all your Sawks info. Big Papi wins Silver Slugger

David Ortiz has won a forth consecutive Silver Slugger for the position of DH. Ortiz was tops in the majors with a .445 on base percentage. He also led the American League in walks 111 and extra base hits with 88. On top of that he also hit a career high .332 and 35 home runs.
All this came in what has to be considered a down year for The Big Papi. A year in which he had to take cortizone shots in the knee and shoulder and has already had offseason knee surgery.
Silver Sluggers are presented to the best hitter for each postion ad voted on by managers and coaches.
